Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you accept my insurance?
A: Our providers currently accept all Oregon Health Plans, PacificSource health plans, Providence Health Plans, and AETNA insurance. Select providers in our office accept Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon, OPTUM health plans, Cigna, and MODA.
Please contact our office with any questions you may have regarding insurance benefits, coverage, or network status. Your insurance provider may offer partial coverage for out-of-network providers.
Q: Are you accepting new clients?
A: The best way to inquire about new client availability is to give us a ring. At this time we are working with extremely limited availability due to high demand; please be aware there may be a waiting period for all new client requests.
Q: What is the intake process for new clients?
A: After gathering your client contact information, we will verify insurance coverage (if applicable) and discuss your benefits with you- that is, whether or not you with have a copy per appointment, deductible to reach, etc. You will receive secure access to your client portal, where you will complete the required new client paperwork and questionnaires. Your initial appointment will be 50-90 minutes, as determined by your provider, after which you will meet with your provider for 50 minutes each session unless otherwise coordinated.
Q: Do you provide medication management, or can you prescribe medication?
A: Unfortunately at this time, Riverfront does not hold prescribing privileges. We will happily coordinate with your primary care physician for any medication management needs.
